He believes in hard work and always puts forth maximum effort in everything he does, “you have to be on top of your performance with everything you do, even if it’s just a part time job while I’m in high school.” After graduation Jacob plans to attend Wake Forest or Old Dominion University and major in criminal justice or psychology. Jacob plans to earn his degree and a military commission through the ROTC program. Jacob intends to have a career in law enforcement and become a reserve officer.
Jacob said, “this is a very high honor and I appreciate my parents who have helped me become successful and my teachers for recognizing me.” Debra Pearce was Jacob’s science teacher in ninth and tenth grades.
